Chewy

I want you to meet Chewy, Chizka’s youngest female puppy. She is my share among the five puppies and I am glad I took a good pick. Below is a picture of her when she was a month old. Such a sweet little thing!

Chewy

Chewy is now 3 months and a few weeks old. She’s grown up into a stout, little pup. Just like her mother, she is short but not as hairy though. She has big ears pointed up, unlike Chiz. Nevertheless, she is as cute and sweet and nice as Chizka. I am so glad she got those qualities from her mother.

Here is out recent bonding taken using my webcam last night. I was busy in front my computer talking to a friend while playing Wartune when she was bugging me with something. She wanted to be rubbed on the belly and be cuddled, so like Chizka!

A Pose With Chizka’s Puppies

Happy April Fool’s Day everyone! I am one of the fools on April Fool’s Day for believing YouTube is really shutting down. What a fool of me. Lol.

Anyway, I am returning to the blog land. I am still addicted to Wartune but not as much as before. I have to lay low and start running back to making a living again or else my mother won’t stop nagging me.

Since today is April 1, I thought of the Blog Photo Challenge. What a good day to start! With Blog Photo Challenge, I can pull inspiration to blog daily.

For the first day of April, I would like to share a pose with my puppies..err Chizka’s puppes. You bet it right, this isn’t a very recent photo. This was taken last January when Chizka’s puppies were just about 2 or 3 weeks old. Don’t I look like a momma to these puppies? They are so cute, aren’t they? From five puppies, we are down to having just two puppies in the house. One was taken to my Uncle’s home, one to younger sister’s and the other one Mucho, Cheep’s puppy died a month ago due to internal bleeding after being run over by a motorbike.

Chizka Is Now A Mama!

Transferring a post from my pet blog. Posted on December 11, 2012.

Congrats Chizka! Happy birthday puppies!

Early morning today, December 11, 2012, at around 2:00 a.m., Chizka gave birth to five healthy and beautiful puppies. Three male puppies came out first followed by two black and brown females.

Chizka, my baby pet of closely four years is now a mother, which made me a grandmother. Lol! It was just like yesterday when I was feeding her fresh milk through a feeding bottle at three months yet now, she is breastfeeding her puppies. She is a baby no more.

I cannot recall the exact date anymore when Chizka did mated for the first time. It was just an accident and I was not happy about it. I wanted her to have a wonderful first mating and I did hope she’ll do with with a pure breed Pomeranian male so she’ll have 75% Pomeranian puppies but that plan was ruined when an Aspin dog sneaked during her heat.

Upon seeing the puppies though, every unhappiness I felt went away. An undeniable happiness took over. Now, I thank her for safely bringing out five puppies. She is stronger than I thought. I love you Chiz and your puppies!

Add Laughter Into Your Life

I believe that laughter is the best medicine. We should just laugh our problems away because sooner or later, those problems we are facing today will go away solved or unsolved. There is no use in being in vain for a long time just because of those trials in life. After my father’s passing not long ago, I thought I wouldn’t be able to laugh a genuine laugh ever again but I realized it is not something that my father would want. I am sure he wants me and the family to go on with our lives for he may have passed away, memories of him will always stay.

Anyway, back to laughter being the so-called best medicine, it indeed does good to our health. It was stated that laughter can improve alertness, reduce stress and increase memory. These benefits that have just mentioned are only the minor ones. What’s better news about laughter is that, which I just learned today, can lower blood pressure. It also defends against respiratory infections and increases the response of the tumor and disease-killing cells.

Having learned these things, we should start putting a doze of laughter in our everyday lives. It wouldn’t be that hard to do. It feels good to laugh and everyone sure wants that feeling of forgetting troubles for a while and have a good laugh with family and friends. There are lots of funny things to see and to do in this world. Let’s not limit ourselves. We can exchange jokes with someone. In the internet, we can see funny pictures, watch funny videos and read humors.  We can as well express our funny side by wearing funny music tees or those tees with humorous prints. Mentioning tees, hit on that link and you’ll find a lot of tees with cool and fun prints.

SEKC Alumni Homecoming 2012 – Day 1

Last December 28, 29 and 30, Saint Estanislao Kostka College, the school where I graduated high school last 2003, celebrated the three-day alumni homecoming. It was the first in SEKC alumni homecoming history. The said three-day celebration was grandly hosted by Batch 1986.

Day 1

There were a some contest hosted on day 1. One thing that was clear to me was the fun run, which our batch didn’t participate because there were only a few of us who were there. Some were still in far places working, weren’t able to get off from work until the 29th.

We passed most on the contests and shows during the daytime but we were present at the night time wherein we were entertained by a few groups of musical bands performing live at the school

Update

If you guys have noticed, all of my blogs haven’t been religiously updated since the New Year. New Year 2013 was the saddest new year our family have ever had. It was the day when someone dearest was taken away for good. My father, who had been so close and so dear to me was taken early morning of the 31st of December. As much as we are extremely sad about his passing, we are as well consoled that he is now resting in peace, free from the worldly pain. I am so grateful to him for all the love and care he showed and showered to me when he was still alive. He will forever be alive in our hearts.

A Sure Hint

This is a very sure hint to Cheep’s gift for me. It surely is a pair of shoes.

Last December 24, we spent the simplest and the loneliest Christmas ever. Why? Everything about Christmas in our little town is changed. I blame the church people for it. It was not Christmas-like last December 24 even with the presence of the foodies on our table. I was just glad I received a few gifts from my online sponsors and from my family before and after the 24th. The earliest I received is a pair of wedge sandals from Cheep. I already had an idea it was a pair of shoes when I first saw the gift. I wasn’t mistaken. The picture of the sandals will be posted in my other site, the Whims and Craze.
