It is time to walk down the memory lane again to bring to mind those sweet, happy, and sad but worth-sharing memories. I would like to share this one memorable photo that started a friendship between me and ate Therz after uploading it on Friendster. Yes, it happened during the friendster era. Also, this ‘share’ is kind of delicious too…why?
It’s a picture taken at a Jolly-Kiddy Party I attended with the hub! This was taken way back in 2008 I think. Yes, it was 2008 because I surely was married in this size of me in the picture. Haist, see what my husband did to me? He turned me into a…fine… not-so-huge whale but still a whale.
Anyway, this very picture above brought back memories of friendship. That’s the picture that started the friendship between me and ate Therz through a social networking site, Friendster.
See our conversation below:
Ate Therz was the wife of hubby’s friend (an ex-wife now). By the time we met online, she was at the US working while the husband stayed in the Philippines watching over their home construction located not very far from where we lived then. I liked her. She was so warm and friendly that we became friends at a blink. It was fun talking to her esp. when we talked about our other half. I knew she was happy about her husband then but later we heard a bad news that they were breaking up. It happened after she came to the Philippines for a vacation. It was also the first time we met personally, would be the last. She found someone in the US and was reported pregnant. Since then, she stopped talking to me online.
I didn’t know why she stopped contacting me but I had a feeling she was shy or just didn’t feel like talking to me. As a woman and a wife who’s currently undergoing bad issues in marriage I can understand her. She sure has one good reason why she left the hubby’s friend and whatever the reason was, I respect it. I still like her and I will treasure the online friendship we once had.
