Spotted At The Project Tour

This is a long overdue post as it happened last June. It was the last rock music event I attended…Oh how I miss the nerve-rocking, head-banging songs!

I was spotted at the Project Tour Digging The Deep music event with my youngest sister Cheep in Nigan’s Resto and Grill last June 2, 2012. I was invited by the owner of Bewear Apparels, a local shop of high quality printed tees in Dipolog City who was the organizer and major sponsor of the said event. I, being one of the sponsors too, am glad that the event was a success. I attended the event wearing a tee from Think Positive Wear while Cheep  went with me wearing a tee from Dig Deep, which both were sold in Bewear Apparels. We chose to wear these tees from the two particular brands because they were two of the major sponsors that night. Credits to those took these pictures, which I think the August Skyline group. I didn’t know these photos with me in it were taken. Read more »

Home Isn’t Bad Afterall

chiez

Manukan isn’t bad afterall. My few days here in my home place have been so good. I like the fact that I am with my mother who is always there whenever I need her care and support. Regardless of the people’s criticisms due to her current affair, which the family had already accepted, she is living a day with smiles. I can tell she’s happy, even happier than when she was with our father. I like how she cares less of those talks against her for as she said, those people don’t know a thing.

I like the fact that I am now so close to the beach that is just located at the back of our home. I can simply rush in there and indulge myself with the seawater whenever I want to, which what I have been doing lately. Well, I actually indulged myself with seawater this afternoon with Chizka. Ah, I missed the sea so badly! Read more »

The Familiar Noise and The Ubod

IMG01254-20121013-1235

I woke up one afternoon (my normal wake up time as a blogger) by a very familiar sound, I mean noise. It was too familiar that it brought back childhood memories. Barely opening my eyes, I jumped off my bed, got out my room and looked out from the window at the back of our house upstairs. From there I saw what that familiar noise was very clearly. I never heard that noise during those years I’ve lived in Dipolog City. It was the noise of a chainsaw as it powerfully cut down a coconut tree on our neighbor’s front yard.

Still sleepy and still barely opening my eyes…and still in my sleeping gear (lol), I rushed outside with with just one thing in mind – I’ll get to taste Ubod or heart of palm again finally! Read more »

I Love The Sea!

chienchiz

One thing I love about home is the sea. Our home is so close to the sea that we can swim anytime we want. During the first week of my move back home, I spent most of the days swimming with my dog Chizka. The bad weather during those days didn’t hinder me to enjoy the seawater.  I just so love the sea plus I haven’t had much of it during my days in Dipolog City. So here some some of our photos at the local beach in Manukan. Read more »
