Nearly Wasted

This is one of those night outs with few of my high school batch mates. These pictures were taken at Fuse Box, in their private room. Fuse Box was our third and last stop of bar hopping that night. We were there at around 2:00 a.m.
Monette and I posed for the camera. I managed to smile while Monette showed a “whatever” face. We were nearly wasted with all the different drinks we’ve had that night. That time in Fuse Box , we ordered a bucket of San Miguel Light beer. Check out the bucket, it’s blue. For munches, we ordered two plates of fried Kikiam.

A bit candid…lol! A drunk-looking me caught on cam in an uncertain pose and uncertain smile. I blamed it to the dizzy photographer and to the beer too.

Blogger’s Notes Now On Entrecard

I received a good news from Entrecard yesterday through email. It is stated in the mail that this blog has met their requirements and that it has been approved. I am so happy to announce that this blog is now a proud member of Entrecard. I’ve done a few rounds of entrecard dropping right away upon reading the mail. Since this blog is new, it’s the best way to bring visitors. Thank you entrecard.

After Entrecard terminated my first account for a reason my main blog has pop-up ads, I didn’t lose hope. Instead I registered a new account and submitted two of my new blogs. I don’t know though if I can resubmit the blogs from that terminated account or not. As of this time, I am glad they approved this blog after submitting it the other day. That fast.

With all the fuss concerning Entrecard, I still find its program helpful to bloggers. Here are my personal reasons why I submitted my blogs to Entercard:

  1. It’s absolutely free to sign up.
  2. It can grow my web traffic by simply installing my Entracard business card 2.0 in this blog where fellow users can drop their own card.
  3. I can network and meet new friends through it.
  4. Dropping from a blog to blog wherein I can visit different blogs is fun and enjoyable.

If you have a new blog that needs visitors, try submitting it to Entrecard now and have fun dropping!

Purple PC Theme

Yay! My PC theme is so purple! I am so drawn into this color now. After turning this blog into purple, I’ve finally noticed its true beauty. It is fabulous! It had replaced pink being the second in my list of favorite colors but I know for sure it never will replace blue in the first place.

I did the changing of my desktop theme this morning while waiting for my sleeping time, which is 5:00 a.m. The picture used as desktop background is a default. It’s a magnificent view, ain’t it? I’ve no idea where that desktop background was taken. Do you have any idea? I wonder where this place is or if this heavenly beauty of a place is ever real. Well anyway, I love my PC theme!

Mistreating My Health

I had a rather unexpected call from a very good friend early morning today. That very good friend is a “he”, he’s my ex. He knows among his friends listed in his phone-book I’m the only one who’s probably awake at that late hour. He just couldn’t sleep that he thought of calling and talking anything that come to mind until he falls asleep. It was not a problem. I can do my online work while talking to him as long as the phone is set to loudspeaker. So there we talked.

We talked a lot of random things but mainly about movies; what genres of movies we to like to watch and what movies we’re done watching in our preferred genres. We both like movies that could earn us moral lesson in the end. He suggested a Bollywood movie titled 3 Idiots. It’s a 2009 Indian comedy film, the highest grossing film. Over the course of our conversation, it went to health. He said I am overdoing in mistreating my health.

Mistreating my health, am I really doing that? It is so sweet of him to remind me I am for it slipped my mind. Working an average hour of 17 hours and having a 5-hour average sleep everyday I think is not bad but I know my smoking habit has gotten worse. He greatly suggested to me to stop smoking. He said I don’t feel the bad effect of it yet for my body is still young but later i’ll eventually suffer. Well, I know that but as for me, while I am still young why not make the most out of my capabilities?

The New “Purplish” Look

I played with the theme of this blog the other day. I got bored of its previous theme, the Notebook. I activated back the 2010 Weaver theme offered at WordPress. I used the predefined Wheat 2010 Weaver. Have you used it? It is so far my favorite theme among the themes offered in WordPress.org.

2010 Weaver for WordPress has features that allow you to easily customize the look and feel of your blog without the need to mess up with the CSS codes. It is structured easily for the newbies in blog designing. By simply playing with the main options of the them, you can easily customize the whole layout by changing the width and position of the sidebars, change the colors, menus and fonts. You can as well easily upload your owned or personalized header and background. If you are an expert with CSS codes, you can do a major blog tweaking. The CSS codes in WordPress theme is something I am not ready to mess up with for now because I am still not familiar with everything CSS. I just couldn’t understand it yet.

Anyway, I am contented right now with the new look of this blog. I’ll just have to upload a personalized header and this will be perfect. From the dramatic “grayish” look to the Notebook theme, here now the “purplish” blog-do. This new look so far is inspiring me to update this blog everyday.

I Want This Tribal Butterfly Tattoo!

I am quite crazy over butterflies. There is a reason why I am so into those beautiful insects aside from being beautiful and colorful but I am not going to share to you the reason this time. What I want to share is a picture of a beautiful tribal tattoo design of a butterfly. I found this design while searching for butterfly tattoo designs online so credits to the designer and to the one who uploaded the picture (i lost track of the site). It’s just too cool! I like it so much! I am even using it as my profile picture right now in Facebook for a daily inspiration. Check it out!

Tribal Butterfly - Photo Not Mine

See? I so want to add this art on my skin in the same area like that in the picture. However, I am afraid I’ll collapse in the middle of the process. I am not sure I can handle the long session of poking and running needle on my skin. This huge tattoo design will for sure take five to six hours, if not more. That’s a freaking long hours of hearing the scary sound of a tattoo gun and enduring the torturing pokes of a needle. But whether it is to endure the pain of the needle and the scary sound of the gun, I think I could conquer both as long as I know the needle is safe. You know what I mean. Like the last time when I had my tattoo, I might get a new tattoo kit for this too to guarantee my safety. Now, I unquestionably want this design on my skin!

Heavy Rain with Thunder and Lightning

It’s been raining a lot here lately. The rain brings lighting and thunderstorm. Rain is heavy mostly at night nonstop until early dawn with thunder and lightning accompanying while it comes and goes during the day. It sucks when lightning strikes because it means I cannot use the internet for I have to unplug its cable. I am afraid the lighting will catch it and mess my computer up.

In a week of rain, some parts of the main road to our apartment have flooded up. The water is kind of deep reaching up to the knees of a man with an average height. If I am to pass through that flood, I would like I just had a half bath upon reaching the other end; that deep. Tricycles have hard times passing through it so transportation here in our area is currently affected. With this possibly continuing rain until next month, we’ll be having transportation problem here for long.

It’s a good thing though the water didn’t reach to our apartment, that at least we are thankful. Few years back, according to the renters here, the water overflowed and reached the apartments that they had no choice but deal with it. The renters then just collect all important things from the first floor and bring all up to the second floor. That’s a lot of hassle not to mention walking around the flooded living room and kitchen. I hope this rain will go away at least will not drop heavy the following days.
