Nice To Know You Wednesday is now on its third week and so far, I am enjoying answering the questions asked every week. The questions:

1. Where do you find tranquility?

Back then, whenever my parents’ fought over anything, I would run to the beach which is just a few steps away from our house. I would stay there until dark. I would walk barefooted on the sand allowing the little waves to play and tickle my feet. That way all my ill feelings towards my parents and the heavy loads they had put on my shoulder were washed away. It felt so peaceful that I didn’t want that moment to end yet I had to go back home. Being an eldest who cares a lot about my family, it always hurt me seeing my parents fight verbally and worst, physically (my mama always was the Pacwoman). Now that I am married and have marital problems of my own, the only place where I can find tranquility would be my/our room. I used to lock myself alone in our room whenever my husband and I fought. 

2. Where do you eat like a horse?

At home with the family. There is no reason to be conscious with them. I couldn’t keep my proper diet. Lol!

3. Where do you zonk out?

On bed. However drunk or dizzzy I would be, I would surely find a bed to zonk out and I don’t care whose bed I would jump into.

4. Where is your jungle?

My closet. At times it could be a perfect getaway for a science excursion but most of the time, it’s a dumping area of cable wires, used closed, gadgets, receipts, bags and etc. And when I feel sorry for the clean clothes underneath the trash (most of the times I am forced), I would do a volunteer work to keep it spic and span. 

5. Where does your joy come from?

I am just a shallow person. I could jump for joy when somebody treats me out to party or to a lunch at Chowking and Mang Inasal. I would be overjoyed if you give me a take out foods like burger and fries from Jollibee.  A high mark in school, a little appreciation of my work, a ‘hello and smile’ from my crush, friends’ visit and pleasant and comforting words can definitely make me smile. Above all, the love I receive from my family contributes solely to my daily joy. 

It’s ABC Wednesday again.  Today we are on E. What do I have here? Ears and Earrings wouldn’t be bad. I am actually cautious while writing this post because my computer will shut down anytime in the middle of writing. So before my computer shuts down, here’s my share.

My ears, according to my other half are just two of the most beautiful parts of my body. When he wants to make love (please excuse to the minors), it would be the access for me to approve. Teehee!

If for him these are pleasant to look at, for me not. I have a pair of rat ears or ears like those of rats’ to those who do not know. I seldom put my hair up when out partying. Instead I cover these pair of ears by simply putting my hair down. My parents then would appease me by saying having rat ears means having a long life. Have you heard of that line before? I do hope it’s true.

On the other hand, the earrings I am wearing in the picture is a Christmas gift from Demcy last year.  It’s pretty isn’t it? I love it! I only wear it for special occasions. My sister Cheep as well love it and had used it to the many parties they had in school. Thank to sis Dhemz.

It’s the second week of Nice To Know You Wednesday and it is as well my second participation. This week’s questions are quite tough for me. It seems like I’ll be picking up one of the darkest memories of my past that I’ve long shoved out. But please don’t think I am forced to lay down some of my truth. One reason why this blog is born anyway is to bare it all.

Yep, once in my life I’ve felt how it’s like to have a life breathing inside my tummy but I was irresponsible that it didn’t live long. Although it happened more or less five years ago, I’m still full of regrets and still can’t forgive myself.  Conscience, I am still enduring the pain of its bites until now. That’s how it’s like be a sinner I think – to be the cause of the death of your own flesh and blood.

Here are our 5 interesting questions:

1. What do you like best about being pregnant?

I think the feeling that there’s a life breathing inside the tummy. It was during the 2nd month I think that I felt like there was a pulse inside that was throbbing fast. I felt that particular fast throbbing every morning around 3 to 4 in the morning. I liked that feeling. Haist, I was so young then and innocent that I didn’t know what’s going on inside my belly, didn’t know what’s right and wrong to do with it plus I was away from my family.

2. What is your most embarrassing preggy moment?

I think when I found out that i’ll be losing my child due to my irresponsibility – taking a huge amount of liquors and drugs during pregnancy. 

3. Was your pregnancy planned or surprised?

Surprised. The father didn’t even know. Lol! And it was too late when he found out. 

4. What I’ll miss most about being pregnant?

The special treatment from colleagues. 

5. What are your preggy comfort food?

I remember I like santol dipped in salt and sliced chili.

It is time for ABC Wednesday again. We are now on D for the 9th round of ABC Wednesday. Below is my share.

D is for Dogs

I would like you to meet the two important animals in my life. They are my two dogs namely Sarah and Chizka. Sarah is a mixed breed of Labrador and Golden Retriever wile Chizka is of German shepherd and Pomeranian. Both of them were spoiled and treated like babies. Sarah, sad to say, had already passed away last year of August at 3 years old. So now I only have Chizka here to take care of and spoiled like a baby.

I am quite a dog lover. Growing up in a family that had a female pet dog that gave us puppies every year I think added some points to it. When I got married and haven’t blessed with a child, having a pet dog was the perfect move. A pet dog for me was a good substitute to a child plus I have a loyal friend in it, an entertainer and a home protector.

I was overwhelmed…well, I still am with joy upon seeing the rank of this blog yesterday. From the empty brown bar, it is now lit up into green for a rank “1″. I still can’t believe when I first saw it for this blog is still fresh. I just started this blog a month ago. Haist! Mr. G. is really surprising. Then and now, I am puzzled with how G works on giving ranking to pages but I must not think about it, instead I must savor the overwhelming joy brought by Mr. G. Thank you!!!
